Nomad choke installation

The Nomad has electronic fuel injection which allows for easier starting. Since it is an 'open loop' type of system it can still use rider input. Some people don't know it, but the Nomad comes with a hidden choke control from the factory.

With the tank removed you can see the factory provided choke (green arrow).

It's rubberbanded to the spark plug cables.

Move it to its mounting location above the horn, tighten it up, and you have a choke for those times when a little rider input is needed.

I plan on removing the air injectors when I install the K&N filter and having the choke will help for those cold weather starts. Even if you don't need it at least you have it and it only took 30 seconds to mount it.
